Your host Daisy Booth, Yoga Teacher and Nutritionist taught here at Zamzam for 2 years before moving to Marrakech full time due to demand.
Daisy’s Yoga really is for everyone from beginner to intermediate and for those more advanced she adds further developments to postures to challenge and deepen your practice. Daisy studied traditional Hatha Yoga, alignment and anatomy focused Scaravelli and Anusara Yoga and Dynamic Vinyasa Flow. Daisy now teaches her own style of class which gives you a balanced journey through dynamic flowing postures, to holding postures in stillness, with time to deepen gently into stretches and bring more awareness to your alignment. Daisy’s classes are meditative and have a strong focus on breath so that people find they connect to a sense of peace and retain a light-hearted sense of humour and joy.
Previously Daisy has worked in the UK on retreats as a yoga teacher and detox advisor along with private clients and set up and managed a beautiful well-being centre with healthy restaurant in the heart of Brighton.

"Endless expanses of sand"
At the end of the long day's walk under the searing Moroccan sun, across endless expanses of sand, the Berbers slowed their camel and stopped. We had arrived at the camp that was to be our home for the night. I was hot and tired after following in the nomads' footsteps, and desperate to cool off. This was the joy of the week I spent on a new "nomadic beach retreat", walking a stretch of coastline between Essaouira and Agadir with a tribe of Tuareg Berbers.Rachel Dixon, The Guardian
"Far beyond what I ever could have imagined"
"Perfect beach retreat"
Zamzam never disappoints me and a fantastic start to the beach retreat. Started with a relax, haman and excellent food, comfy bed and long nights sleep. Headed to the beach with lunch at a trendy restaurant and then beach walk to first nights camp. Unbelievable how quickly you are away from the hussle and bustle to fantastic views from the cliffs and secluded beaches and coves. Luxury camping which felt like zamzam but on the beach, the same high quality of food and bedding! Days filled with walking, yoga and massages, evenings relaxed with gorgeous morrocan food, music and camp fires. A few days felt like a complete recharge of the mind and body which normally takes a week. Back to Zamzam for more yoga, cooking classes and anything which you want, nothing too much effort and always high class. Perfect.Jacolyn Ferguson - HR Director, Priory Group
A Special Place
Every once in a while you find yourself somewhere so special, surrounded buy such wonderful people, that your heart breaks a little when it comes time to leave. Riad ZamZam is such a place. Emma and Marcus are the perfect hosts and their warm and friendly staff helped to make our stay exceptional. Thank you all for a perfect long weekend.
The Riad itself is an oasis of calm set a away from the hubbub of the Souks. The rooms are beautiful and the common areas tastefully designed for relaxation and socialising. The food was authentic, vibrant and fresh. I could go on, but you get the idea, I really liked it.
I'd love to come back, but fear if I do, I may never leave :-)Alex Hunt - London
Spa and Cleanse Retreat
I love this riad for its high quality of luxury accomodation, fine food and excellent staff. This visit was for the retreat and it was by far the best I have experienced, and I have been to most well known spas worldwide. It went from detox juicing, yoga by exceptional teacher, healthy delicious food to various massages which included deep tissue, hot stone, reflexology and every other pampering you can imagine.
Reiki & meditation to start and finish the day resulting in the most relaxed tranquil feeling in a short period of time. A presentation on foods that heal which may have changed my life for good. An experience not to be missed and one to be repeated - I hope!Michelle - Leicester

Today I found this interesting article on Peecycling in the National Geographic. Its great to see peoples views of how this type of waste can be used to benefit the earth. The secret is temperature as well as other materials for the compost but here in Morocco with our heat the temperature in the compost […]Read More
